Huge Congrats to our Liesel Irene Horn on her appointment as the Musical Theatre Lecturer for the M&M Music Academy.

Liesel Irene Horn has joined M&M’s as Musical Theatre Lecturer for both full-time and part-time students. She will teach vocal and acting tuition for Trinity courses and exams and serve as in-house director for M&M’s Part‑Time annual musical.

Liesel is a performer, producer and musical director. Recent credits include conductor and QLab operator for The Addams Family: The Musical (2025, Homecoming Centre), and stage & production manager for the Junior Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (junior production, 2025, Drostdy Theatre). She is operations manager for Musical Mondays at The Outlore Base, Cape Town.

As co-founder of Saunders and Horn, Liesel produced Miscast (2023) and You Never Know: A Mostly Miscast Musical (2024), and had original work showcased at the CCA Cabaret and Beyond Festival. Her performance credits include Veronica Sawyer in the South African premiere of Heathers: The Musical (sold‑out Artscape Arena) and roles in Miscast and The Boddy at Tudor. She also holds several Assistant Musical Director credits on regional productions.

Liesel graduated from Waterfront Theatre School (2024) and holds ATCL and LTCL diplomas from Trinity College London, plus West End training in 2019.
