Samantha Bernhardi is a highly accomplished and seasoned professional in the entertainment industry, renowned for her extensive experience and visionary leadership. Her career began as an Agent at Sybil Sands, where she worked from 1993 to 2006, honing her skills, industry insights, and her innate ability to spot and nurture talent. Her dedication and expertise during this period laid a strong foundation for her future endeavours.

Demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and deep passion for talent development, Samantha founded her own agency, Samantha Bernhardi Artist Management, in 2006. Through her unwavering commitment, she built a reputation for integrity, personalised service, and an exceptional ability to guide artists to success.

In 2021, Samantha expanded her influence by helping to establish and manage the Cape Town office of MLASA, where she continued to foster talent and industry connections on a broader scale. After several successful years in this role, she returned to her beloved agency in 2024—a heartfelt homecoming that marked a significant milestone in her ongoing journey. Her renewed leadership and dedication promise to elevate her agency’s legacy, underscoring her enduring impact on the entertainment industry and the talented individuals she passionately supports.

She is delighted to be working with Luntu Masiza again, as he returns to help launch SBAM JHB, their new satellite agency in Johannesburg.

Luntu Masiza is a South African actor, producer, and storyteller. He studied at AFDA The South African School of Motion Picture, Medium and Live Performance and later completed a Master’s degree in Theatre at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London.

Luntu is deeply passionate about storytelling and believes in the transformative power of performance. As a storyteller, he finds great inspiration in actors who bring authenticity and humanity to their characters.

Having had the opportunity to work with Samantha Bernhardi Artist Management, Luntu developed an even greater appreciation for supporting actors being both a voice and a facilitator in their careers. One of his greatest strengths lies in networking, relationship-building, and connecting people.

Working alongside Samantha to launch the Johannesburg branch brings both excitement and a fresh challenge: to discover and represent some of the finest talent in the industry.
