New Headshots - Tyde Hickman
Updated headshots are one of the smartest investments an actor can make. Casting directors, producers, and commercial clients often decide in a glance, so current, professional images that accurately reflect your look and range will increase your chances of being noticed and called in. Refresh your headshots every 12–24 months, or sooner after major changes (haircut, weight change, new facial hair, aging, or a rebrand). Shoot for variety: at minimum capture a clean/neutral look, a warm/commercial smile, and one character/directional image. Use a headshot specialist, keep wardrobe simple and flattering, arrive camera-ready with polished grooming, and request both high-resolution and web-optimised files. Update all profiles and submission materials at once (Your Agent, casting sites, IMDB/Spotlight equivalents & social media), and keep an archive of older looks for roles that require them.
