Bronwyn Carrie-Wilson is a versatile South African actor with professional experience across film and theatre, backed by extensive international training in New York.

Bronwyn trained for two years at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, studying acting, voice, singing, dance and movement with leading industry practitioners. She subsequently completed a one-year full-time programme at the New York Film Academy, specialising in Meisner technique, acting for film and television, and improvisation.

Her screen credits include Origin with Left Bank Pictures, alongside Escape From Ensenada, Wear, Confabulation, Gray Matter, Mina, Strange Play and Colours, working across a variety of independent productions and genres.

Her theatre credits include Cecily in The Importance of Being Earnest, Dromio of Syracuse in The Comedy of Errors, Ruby in Dracula’s Call, Blanche in I Know All Save Myself Alone, Chastity in Acts from the Womb, Marilyn in The Middle of the Night, Emma Ivanich in The Blue Room and Nikita in The Swan Song.  

Bronwyn is particularly strong in dialect and character versatility, with an extensive accent range spanning British, Scottish, Irish, Welsh, South African, Australian and American dialects, among others. She was nominated for Best Actress at the CATAS for A Comedy of Errors.
