Sindisiwe Mjali is a South African theatre artist, singer, actor, and director, known for her work with the Kwasha Theatre Company and her focus on community engagement. Mjali is an honors graduate in Theatre and Performance from the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits), where she specialized in Directing and Musical Theatre. Mjali is a former member of the 7th Kwasha Theatre Company, a program for young theatre graduates. She has written and directed her own plays, including Forever Naye (2022) and Mosadi Le Mašupatsela (2023), which were staged at the Wits Theatre. Her acting credits include performances in Kwa'mnyamandawo at the Ramolao Makhene, Father & I at the John Kani Market Theatre and has recently taken on a role in an international production. Mjali is passionate about using theatre as a transformative tool to guide children and youth in discovering their purpose in life. She has worked as a kids' drama facilitator, an experience that reinforced her love for her craft. Born and raised in Tembisa, she describes herself as an overall arts lover who is always keen to learn and share her knowledge with others.
