Emily Whitefield, the baby of five daughters, gave up a life of academia to pursue her love for the performing arts. Due to the fact that she had an inclination towards mathematics and drama, she studied both for four years, then was true to herself and followed her heart.

She was three years old when she had her acting debut as Mother Mary in her convent school production. She refused to get off the stage. It was inevitable that she was destined for stardom. Primarily a Shakespearean actress, she could dance before she could walk, read before she was taught, plays the violin and golf and listens to Cold Play and Puccini. She got her fanatical passion for all sport from her father, and her unconditional love for literature and the arts from her mother. Emily has done her time on both television and film, acting, presenting and dancing her way through life.
