Rentia Roux is a dynamic South African performer and 2025 graduate of PALI Incubation whose talents in acting, singing, and dancing shine across stage and screen. She showcased her musical theatre abilities in Johann Smith’s cabaret Sluk ‘n Pil at Manefest 2024 and in Lara Lourens’ musical Glitter, Gents and Jazz Hands. In 2025 she appeared in the award-winning production Skaakmat Tussen Brakfontein en die Vagevuur, written and directed by Luan Jacobs, which received Best Production at Manefest 2025. Physical theatre is another of her strengths; she performed in multiple movement works and took the lead in PALI’s 2024 Movement End Year Show, finishing her training by winning Best Mover in 2025 and receiving a Best Actress nomination. Some of her screen credits include Chloor, Derde Wiel, and Reënboogrant, with an appearance in the upcoming Showmax drama Ontwaak. Rentia also works in voice performance, contributing to several international dubbing projects. Rentia thrives on challenging herself in new ways and developing new skills to broaden her horizons. As of 2026 she is working in the children’s theatre production Boek Buddies.
