Biography
Kutlwano Semela is a dedicated theatre maker and graduate of the Market Theatre Laboratory (2025), where she earned a certificate in theatre and performance skills. Her artistic passions span acting, singing, writing, stage management, and improvisation. Kutlwano’s training has prepared her for a diverse career across the performing arts. She is a member of the ensemble cast of Afropocalypse, winner of the 2025 Standard Bank Gold Ovation Award, and the writer-performer of Collateral Beauty, a children’s theatre piece staged at the Soweto Solo Festival 2025. Energetic, curious, and committed, Kutlwano brings her full creative spirit to every project she undertakes.
