Biography

Garion has been acting for most of his life, with his first professional performance at 7. His first international series was The Prisoner (with Ian McKellen and Jim Caviezel). At age 12, he joined the main cast in the popular South African television series Soul Buddyz. He played significant roles in Generations: The Legacy, Isidingo, Isithembiso, Binnelanders, The Queen and the well-received Still Breathing TV series, among others. At 18 he starred with Bill Paxton and Daniel Radcliffe in The Game Changers, after which he was cast as the lead role in Shepherds and Butchers, opposite Steve Coogan and Andrea Riseborough. The film was directed by Oliver Schmitz and nominated in the Berlin Film Festival under the category 'Panorama'. Garion received a SAFTA nomination for Best Actor for his performance. He played the lead role of Baxter Zevcenko in the very popular sci-fi short Apocalypse Now, which was highly well-received online with over half a million views in the first month, going viral in the US. He later worked with Matthew McConaughey and Anne Hathaway in the star-studded cast of Serenity. He was also cast in BBC's Netflix series Troy:(Fall of a City) and as the villain One Eye in Revelation Road. He played the lead role as Tom in The Drop (2024), which was nominated for Best Feature Film at the NFTV awards. He is a reliable and disciplined young man with an incredible passion for acting.
