Biography
Stephan Mans is a versatile English and Afrikaans South African actor and storyteller working across film, television and theatre. A 2025 graduate from PALI Incubation, Stephan immersed himself in learning and developing his performance, production, writing, and directing—earning him the prestigious All-Rounder Award alongside nominations for both Best Actor and Best Director. His recent screen credits include lead roles in the independent films Chloor and Sokkie Speurtoer, and an appearance in Showmax’s upcoming series Ontwaak. On the theatre side, he has performed in various productions, including the award-winning play Skaakmat, directed by Luan Jacobs at the Manefest Festival, which received Best Production. He is the founder of the Lions Pride Film and Theatre Festival, which was later developed into the LM Festival (Luminous Moments), a platform supporting emerging artists in the South African film and theatre community.
