Biography
Manyano is a dynamic actor, singer, and dancer from the Eastern Cape. He trained at Lady Grey Arts Academy, specialising in Dance, Drama, and Voice, before furthering his studies in Musical Theatre at Oakfields College in Pretoria.He made his professional stage debut in 2023 as the larger-than-life Marty in Madagascar – A Musical Adventure for The People’s Theatre, directed by Jill Girard. This was followed by a string of children’s theatre productions, including a magical journey to Neverland in Janice Honeyman’s 2023 pantomime Peter Pan at the Joburg Theatre. In 2024/25, Manyano sang and 'danced all night' in the award-winning SA touring production of My Fair Lady, presented by PTP Productions and Cape Town Opera. Most recently, he spent much of 2025 touring as one of the brothers in the highly acclaimed production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, presented by PTP Productions and LAMTA, where a critic hailed him as “the quintessential triple threat.” Manyano is eager to continue growing as a versatile performer and is excited to expand his career into film and television, bringing the same energy, discipline, and storytelling passion to the screen.
