Biography
Kgomotso Prudence Motsiane is an innovative and detail-oriented multidisciplinary artist with a strong foundation in theatre and an expanding presence in film and television. Her artistic journey began at the Youth in Trust Acting Academy at the South African State Theatre in 2018, where she completed full-time acting training. She later advanced her craft through a Film Masterclass with Leaders in Motion under the National Film and Video Foundation in 2023. Kgomotso is celebrated for her leadership, creative problem-solving, and ability to deliver high-quality results in both live and post-production environments. Her passion for storytelling and community engagement has positioned her as a respected facilitator and mentor in creative arts education. In 2024, she earned the prestigious Standard Bank Ovation Award at the National Arts Festival for her outstanding contribution to theatre. She served as Production Manager for the award-winning stage production MAONO, directed by Sibusiso Masangane, where she also showcased her acting talent in the role of Bofelo. This collaboration marked her involvement with Urge Society Broadcasting 1, demonstrating her exceptional organizational and artistic skills.
