Kerry Black
Kerry Black is a multi-faceted performer from Cape Town, currently in the third year of her studies at Act Cape Town.
After receiving both a Higher Certificate (2023) and Advanced Certificate (2024) in Acting for Film and TV.
Kerry has a love for both film and theatre and has acted in a variety of short films for local film festivals, such as the Cape Town 48 Hour and the Shotties film festival, as well as various independent projects.
Kerry has training in both Meisner and The Method techniques and experience in physical theatre and improvisation.
Recently co-created the improv troupe, ‘Seven’.
Off stage and screen, Kerry is a writer, photographer, casting assistant, and director with a passion for people and storytelling who aims to infuse everything she does with authenticity, compassion, determination and a sense of humour.
