Sven-Eric pursued a formal education in theatre at The Waterfront Theatre School in 2009-2012. He spent 2011 to 2019 in the Professional South African theatre industry, with a short stint in Australia and an odd trip to Namibia for teaching and performing.
During his professional theatre career, Sven-Eric spent five years (2011-2016) with a contemporary ballet Company, Bovim Ballet, rising through the ranks from apprentice to the Principal. In 2014, he moved on to Musical Theatre, where he did The Rocky Horror Show (2014), Cabaret (2015), West Side Story (2015/16/17), Joseph (2016) and Funny Girl (2017), gaining buckets of knowledge and experience in theatre practices.

The pandemic moved him back to his home in Namibia, where he created various performances part-time while running his dance and exercise studio Oh Shift full-time. After four years back in Namibia, Sven-Eric is back in Cape Town with SBAM as his Agent in Cape Town.
